cheap and most of us let our deck and fence gray, split, grow algae,
fungus, and warp. The Eco Clean of Va. way protects the wood from

The First Step With Our Method Is Cleaning.
Other companies use harmful detergents and chemicals to clean pressure
treated wood, these chemicals/detergents cause more harm to the wood fibers,
you, and harm our environment. We use Oxygen Bleach, Oxygen bleach is a
powder you mix with water. As soon as the powder is added to water, it starts to
create millions of oxygen ion bubbles. These non-toxic oxygen ions blast apart
stain and odor molecules. The wood becomes un-compressed , removes the mill
glaze and opens all the pores in the wood.
Next Step is Sealing
After the wood is dry, Eco Clean begins the seal/Stain treatment. (Transparent
seal also available.) The sealer, a water-based epoxy fortified wood stain is a
high performance semi-transparent finish that prevents the damaging effects of
water, fungi, and UV radiation on exterior wood. It is a VOC-compliant synthetic
resin which penetrates wood pores to block out water and provide long-lasting
protection from weather damage. The product's excellent penetration helps
eliminate surface buildup and peeling. For use on pressure treated and all
other natural porous wood surfaces. Stain is available in Natural Pine, Cedar
Tone, Light Walnut, Redwood, and Driftwood Gray.
The process will take 2 coats, the 2nd coat applied after 20 mins. We use brush
and pump sprayers to achieve a uniform seal and a beautiful finish. The same
method can be used for wood playground equipment, log Homes and outside
furniture. A maintenance coating will be needed on deck floors (2-3 yrs.) sooner
than Vertically placed wood like Fence and Rails.( 3 to 5 yrs) The maintenance
coating will also use less material than the first treatment. Which saves you $$$$.
